A couple of spirited Midlanders, we came to London with big ideas but no contacts. Although we’d bagged ourselves a middle-class education, we came from backgrounds that had no key to the creative door. Through grit and determination we ramraided our way in. So, after 25yrs combined industry experience (read graft), we decided to set up Play in Progress (PiP).  

PiP is a way for us to explore the space between education and industry and mix things up. Armed with PiP’s core values of Bravery, Empathy and Truth, The GirlHood is our first project to play with the progression of the Creative Industries.
